1. Irish Soda Bread Using Coconut Flour

Irish soda bread is a reminder of simpler times and a celebration of the rich culinary heritage that brings everyone together. Let’s give this classic a wholesome twist with agluten-free flour choice while perfectly  honoring Irish traditions.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Pride of India Coconut flour

  • 1/2 cup arrowroot powder (for better texture)

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 

  • 3 eggs 

  • 1/2 cup milk 

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • White Himalayan salt (fine salt)

  • 1/4 cup raisins

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) 

  2. Stir together gluten-free flour, arrowroot powder, baking soda,½ cup raisins and Himalayan salt in a bowl

  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, apple cider vinegar, butter, and sweetener (if using).

  4. Slowly combine wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until a thick dough forms.

  5. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on the baking sheet. Use a knife to score an "X" on top.

  6. Bake for 25-30 mins  until golden brown and firm to the touch.

Tip: Try a vegan variation of creating the soda bread using flax eggs, and maple syrup for your favorite bread recipe this St. Patrick’s Day! 

2.Mashed Potatoes with Breakfast Seasoning

Enjoy a delightful twist on traditional Irishmashed potatoesor colcannon with our Everyday Breakfast Seasoning! The creamy, buttery mashed potatoes blend beautifully with sautéed cabbage, while the seasoning with pink salt, black peppercorn, chia seeds, sesame seeds, flax seeds, minced garlic, and onion flakes, adds a subtle depth of flavor. For a more classic taste, use the seasoning in moderation or adjust to your preference

Ingredients:

  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed

  • 1 cup cabbage, finely chopped

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1/4 cup milk 

  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • Pride of India’s Breakfast Seasoning, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 mins. Drain then mash.

  2. In a pan, melt butter and saute cabbage until soft.

  3. Add whole milk and green onions, stirring until warmed through.

  4. Mix sauteed cabbage into mashed potatoes, then sprinkle with Breakfast Seasoning.

  5. Serve warm with an extra pat of butter on top. Enjoy colcannon as a perfect side with your soda bread.

3.Fusion-Style Lamb Stew with Indian Garam Masala

Why miss out on a hearty, comforting Irish stew for St. Patrick’s Day? This Irish Lamb Stew with meat and veggies gets a flavorful twist with warm Indian spicesofgaram masalathen slow-simmered for perfection!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lbs lamb shoulder, cut into chunks

  • 2 tbsp oil or butter

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 carrots, sliced

  • 2 potatoes, cubed

  • 3-4 cups broth

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • 1/2 tbspPride of India Garam Masala

  • 1 bay leaf

  • Himalayan Pink Salt (coarse salt), adjust to taste

  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Steps-

  1. Heat oil in a pot and brown the lamb on all sides. Remove and set aside.

  2. In the same pot, sauté onions, garlic, and carrots until softened.

  3. Return the lamb, add broth,garam masala spice powder,bay leaf, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 1 hour.

  4. Add potatoes and cook for another 30-45 mins until tender.

  5. Remove the bay leaf, garnish with parsley and a 1 tsp ofbreakfast sausage seasoningfor nuttiness, and enjoy with a bowl ofBrown Basmati and Black Lentil kitchari mixgiving you a wholesome festive meal experience.

4.Chocolate Quinoa Smoothie

  • 1 cupplant-based milk (almond or coconut)

  • 2 tbspcocoa powder

  • 1banana 

  • 1 tbspnut butter 

  • 1 tbspmaple syrup 

  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.

  2. Pour chocolate quinoa smoothie into a glass and top with sesame seeds or shredded coconut or fresh berries. Enjoy!

5.  Moringa Latte for a Healthy Green Drink
